These objects can be things such as a peculiar wall or a hint at a treasure hidden away in an apartment- all of which adds to the historical feel and atmosphere of the game. The exploration element has also been improved with faster movement and better free running, along with being able to go around entire city walls instead of just going up them. Combat is the major part of Assassin’s Creed- it has always been behind the scenes but in Brotherhood there is a much more refined combat system, which also includes free running and stealth killing. The stealth system makes use of your Assassin’s Creed Sense of Vision, allowing you to easily detect enemies through walls, furniture etc. if you are spotted, you can either hide or fight them off. Also new to this game are the ‘Enemy Alarms’. These are new audio signals that can be used to help track down your targets by alerting guards when they get close to them. The level of loot you get from killing targets is also increased, with items such as weapons, documents or letters being randomly available when you have killed your target. The two new areas are the Villa Borghese Gardens and the Colosseum which are both huge enhancement’s to previous Assassin’s Creed games.
